Romantic Riverside Cottage
at the Capital of the Broads

July 2016
We had a relaxing holiday at the Cottage. No surrounding noise. If you are into fishing this is the place, the River is literally 12' from the patio door. I caught my 1st pike there.
The nearby town of Wroxham has everything you could want, there is a Macdonalds if that's to your liking, or several restaurants, including two fish and chip shops and a pub that does toast dinners and has a curry night.
Should you need fishing tackle there is a shop that has a comprehensive range of rods, reels and bait. I can thoroughly recommend the cottage.

Just returned from our 3 night stay at Bure cottage and wanted to say thanks.
Fishing was hard but we both caught when others were struggling.
Cottage was as we hoped and thought the milk and biscuits was a nice touch.
Thanks for allowing us to book the cottage and hope to be able to use you again.

My daughter and I enjoyed our week in Wroxham. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable with excellent heating for colder evenings. We were thrilled to have visits from lovely grey herons and Egyptian geese as we sat on the patio with a glass of wine. Wroxham is a lovely little town with excellent pubs and super shops. Roy's department store and grocery were full of treats! We particularly loved the dressed crab with lovely fresh bread and the wide range of local fruit and vegetables. Our boat trip on the Broads was one of the highlights with excellent commentary from the captain. Our host's information on reaching the cottage and things to do when you were there was the best I've encountered in many years of holiday renting. We'd love to return!

We had great time staying at this lovely cottage. Ideal for fishing holidays and central for trips around The Broads. Even the weather was brilliant - no complaints except I wish we had booked for two weeks.

HI Nigel Did intend to e mail you direct but since I have this link will do so here (not brilliant on computer) What a great week we had at the Bure. Its been years since we stayed at the Cottages on this site and it has certainly changed, to the good I might add. You have done a great job with the Bure Cottage, I loved the pictures and the bedding was fabulous, well done. Your suggestion to go to Wroxham in the Winter sounded a good idea and I will be looking to book for November this year. Norwich is such a lovely place to visit and Wroxham is a great place to start out from. The sun shone all week on the water outside the cottage, fishing was good and we both enjoyed it so much. I have written in the visitors book with a little suggestion that you put a caution note up re very hot water! boy is it hot. I will attempt to do a review but if I do not manage thank you so much for a great time, well done.
